Or is it "Happy New Years"? I never know and think I say Happy New Years but then afterwards I have this little personal discussion in my head about which one should it be that eventually trails into a curiosity of why they call it "Silvester" in Germany? So this time I had to look it up ... and ... "The night of the Holy Sylvester, the last night of the year, has always beennthe night of fools and a funny good time. the saint of this day, Pope Sylvester I, according to legend is the man who healed from leprosy and baptized the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great.." How cool is that!
This year, maybe more than past, I'm filled with such a combination of gratitude for the overflowing blessing surrounding me in my life and titillating anticipation for what's to come in 2012.
Thoughts of comfort, peace and love to all!
Happy New Years! (just in case)
Affectionately,
Sylvia
